What happened
WhatsApp announced calls for guests without accounts, admitted by the host.
What changes
The host creates the link and controls the waiting room. Calls support up to 32 people; guests cannot see other participants’ phone numbers.
Why it matters
This can reduce the steps needed to meet with people using different tools.
Implications for businesses
One Rhino’s perspective: a business can test the feature in its account before adding it to its customer service process.
One Rhino’s take
Making a meeting easier also requires communicating the time, link and who will admit attendees.
