What happened
NVIDIA describes blueprints for catalogue enrichment, multimodal assistants and agentic commerce. On its page she cites that Amazon reduced 50% catalogue production costs and that Shopify generates tens of million daily predictions.
What changes
The commercial AI begins to have repeatable architecture: structured product, search, recommendation, conversation and transaction.
Why it matters
A company with an untidy catalogue will have problems using agents even if they have access to the best model.
Implications for businesses
The first project should not be "put a chatbot," but clear attributes, categories, prices, availability and catalogue rules.
One Rhino’s take
The catalogue is becoming a sales API. If well structured, you can feed web, marketplaces, vendors and AI agents at the same time.
